I am a Master's prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 13 years of experience in obstetrics, postpartum, and newborn care, with a national certification in Maternal Newborn Nursing. I have worked as a bedside registered nurse, caring for all kinds of families, an Assistant Nurse Manager, leading a talented group of nurses in a busy Labor & Delivery department, and finally as a Professional Practice Leader (aka Clinical Nurse Specialist) optimizing workflows across a hospital system to strive toward best practices in perinatal quality and safety. It fills my cup to be able to share the knowledge I've gained throughout my career with a wider audience and empower people to advocate for themselves and their families.

I am a masters prepared registered nurse with 10 years of experience. I've spent the majority of my nursing career helping bring new life into this world working in the hospital setting as an obstetrics, postpartum, and newborn nurse. I've helped countless families welcome their newest addition with care, compassion, and expertise. I'm also proud to have worked as a nurse case manager, ensuring that patients have access to the resources they need to recover successfully at home after leaving the hospital. I am confident that as we go through these courses together, you will feel that compassion as well as my passion for providing support and evidence-based education and resources so that you can feel empowered while on your own, unique journey of parenthood.
